- K-7 Evaluation System for evaluation of jaw movement, bone friction and muscle tension
- Digital X-ray machines (90% less radiation!)
- Surgical lasers for reconstructive procedures
- 3D Cone Beam CT Scan
- DIAGNOdent
- Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) machine for TMJ therapy
- Computer controlled local anesthesia injection system
- IntraOral Camera
- Digital Panaoramic X-ray
- Osstell ISQ
- EKG Monitor
- Pulse Oximeter
- CO2 Monitor
- Surgical Piezo Equipment
- E4D Technology
The K7 Evaluation System provides Dr. Mathew with three distinctly different technologies to measure, display and store objective data that is essential to assisting Dr. Mathew with diagnosing and treating your condition.
Digital X-ray allows us to send digital x-ray images of your teeth directly to a computer screen. Also, digital x-rays use small, round-ended, comfortable digital sensors to take the digital x-rays as opposed to the traditional uncomfortable dental films placed in the mouth. Digital x-rays emit less than 90% of the radiation of traditional x-rays, which is healthier for you!
Surgical lasers have revolutionized the dental industry, allowing Dr. Mathew to perform a higher level and greater variety of reconstructive surgeries with less downtime for the patient, no bleeding, faster healing and less anxiety or high precision.
DIAGNOdent is a painless way to discover tiny areas of tooth decay before they grow larger, become more painful and become more expensive to treat. Early detection of cavities and treatment will help you to prevent the progression of disease, dental abscess and thus avoid root canal treatment and extractions. DIAGNOdent scans your tooth surfaces with a laser beam and then calibrates to your unique tooth structure. Cavities developing below the surface are identified and a digital readout informs Dr. Mathew about these tiny areas of tooth decay that might otherwise have been missed with traditional methods of examination.
The (TENS) machine helps patients relax their muscles, unclenching the jaw and allowing stress to melt away through a series of gentle electrical pulses. When the body and jaw are relaxed, pain can be controlled and Dr. Mathew can more precisely pinpoint the optimal bite position to correct malocclusion.
The computer controlled local anesthesia injection system, known as the Wand, or CompuDent delivers local anesthetic via a computer, for a slow and steady injection.
The Digital Panoramic machine with TMJ views allows Dr. Mathew to view the image of the jaw in a panoramic view. Images are produced in only seconds and due to its digital nature, the machine exposes patients to much lower levels of radiation. The digital TMJ views also help Dr. Mathew to more precisely diagnose TMD and to monitor your progress throughout the entire cycle of treatment.
Osstell ISQ allows Dr. Mathew to take dental implant stability measurements in order to ensure the success of you dental implant procedure.
Dr. Mathew uses the EKG Monitor, Pulse Oximeter, and CO2 Monitor in order to ensure patient comfort and safety when they are anesthetized for their dental treatment.
The Piezo equipment allows for more precise cutting during dental implant surgery, preventing damage that could be caused by using a drill.
With the E4D Technologies Dr. Mathew can produce dental restoration on site instead of having to have them made in a lab, allowing you to get restorations in one visit.
