3 Things to Do in Salem, NH During Fall
It’s October, our favorite time of year—because that means it’s fall and also Halloween! Here are three local fall activities that we at Artisan Dentistry love taking part in. We think you will too!
Screeemfest at Canobie Lake Park
If you’re all about thrills and chills for Halloween, look no further than our own backyard in Salem, NH! During the month of October, Canobie Lake Park transforms into Screeemfest, featuring a creepy collection of haunted houses and ghosts and ghouls wandering the amusement park. No matter what you’re scared of—clowns, monsters, or just the dark—you’ll find plenty to get your scream on. Not into the scares? No problem! The park’s normal rides and attractions are also fully operational.

Pick-Your-Own Apples & Pumpkins
Looking for daytime fun for the whole family? There’s nothing like spending a crisp fall day apple-picking and hunting for the best pumpkins for jack-o-lanterns. At Artisan Dentistry, we suggest Sunnycrest Farm in Londonderry. Kids will love exploring the pumpkin patch and visiting the petting zoo, and adults can snag all the apples they can carry for all their fall baking. Don’t forget to sample some yummy cider and fresh apple cider donuts at the farmstand while you’re there. Just make sure to brush your teeth after!

Leaf Peeping
New Hampshire is known for its spectacular fall foliage, and Salem has lots of lovely spots to take it all in. We like to drive by Captain Pond, a little known gem of a location at the bottom of Carriage Lane in Salem. The vibrant colors of the leaves reflect off the water for a breathtaking view.
