If you have ever been ashamed of your smile, you’re not alone. Thousands of Americans suffer from lack of self-confidence because of their smile. Many patients didn’t have access to good dental care growing up, or have lacked good dental insurance to help properly address their problems.

Having a smile that you are ashamed of can alter the way that you live your life, and nobody should have to hide away because of the state of his or her teeth. If you have ever felt this way, or felt like you should avoid the dentist’s office because your teeth are too far gone, reconsider how you feel and consider watching the Lifetime show, “Smile.”

“Smile” is about giving the gift of dentistry to people who have suffered their entire lives with a smile that they are ashamed of. The show follows average people, who have severe issues with their teeth, as they visit a dentist and transform their smiles into something worth being proud of. Watching this show will help you see, that through dentistry, anything is possible.

Not only can dentistry provide you with a smile to be proud of, but it can also help you feel more self-confident, happier, and will generally improve your life. Whether you were born with a genetic condition that altered the growth of your teeth, or if you have a fear of the dentist that has kept you away for years, know that you are welcome at a dentist’s office and that they want to help transform your life.

Investing your time and energy into getting the dental care that you need, will improve so many aspects of your life, and every patient deserves that.
